Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University Organizes a Scientific Lecture on Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy Practice

As part of its scientific activities aimed at keeping pace with technological advancements and raising awareness of modern digital technologies in the pharmaceutical field, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University organized a specialized scientific lecture titled:

"AI in Pharmacy: Passion to Legacy"

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Loai Saadah, Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the Applied Science Private University, and was attended by a distinguished group of faculty members and students.

The lecture addressed the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) as an advanced tool that supports scientific research in pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Saadah highlighted the ability of AI technologies to analyze massive and complex data sets quickly and accurately, contributing to accelerating research and drug development processes, while enhancing the efficiency and quality of research outcomes. He also explained how these technologies can improve the accuracy of clinical decision-making and enhance patient outcomes through advanced algorithmic models that integrate with healthcare systems.

During the lecture, Dr. Saadah presented real-world examples of scientific research that utilized AI, noting the promising opportunities for integrating this technology into pharmacists’ daily practice, especially in light of the ongoing digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

The lecture witnessed high engagement from the audience, with students and faculty members expressing strong interest in the presented topics. The session resulted in rich scientific discussions and constructive contributions focused on the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing AI in both local and global pharmaceutical environments. Many students also expressed their enthusiasm to incorporate these technologies into their future research projects.
