The Interprofessional Education Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University, in collaboration with the Faculties of Medicine and Nursing, organized a specialized workshop on Interprofessional Education (IPE). The workshop was held at the Deanship of Student Affairs building on Monday, February 16, 2026, with wide participation from students of the health faculties.

Twenty students from each of the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Nursing participated in the workshop, bringing the total number of participants to 60 students. The event provided an interactive educational experience aimed at strengthening the concept of teamwork among different healthcare professions.

The workshop aimed to reinforce the principles of collaborative learning and enhance effective communication skills among health faculty students. It included introductory sessions on the concept of Interprofessional Education and its importance in improving the quality of healthcare. A clinical case was also presented, where student teams worked collaboratively to develop an integrated treatment plan across the three disciplines.

The event also featured realistic simulation activities, during which students assumed their professional roles according to their respective specialties and worked together to reach the most appropriate patient care plan. This demonstrated a high level of engagement and harmony among participants.

At the conclusion of the workshop, all participating teams were evaluated according to specific criteria, and the medical teams that achieved the top three positions were honored in recognition of their excellence in teamwork and professional competence.
