A group of students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University, under the supervision of several faculty members, conducted a humanitarian visit to the Pediatric Department at King Abdullah University Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
During the visit, the students distributed a variety of gifts to children receiving treatment in the Pediatric Surgery Department. The initiative aimed to bring joy to the young patients and offer emotional support during their recovery. The gesture was warmly received by both the children and their families, who expressed their gratitude and delight, highlighting the students’ compassion and strong sense of social responsibility.
The medical and administrative staff at the department also extended their sincere appreciation for this thoughtful initiative, commending the organizers’ efforts and the university’s commitment to fostering civic engagement and promoting humanitarian values among students.
This visit is part of the Faculty’s extracurricular programming, designed to strengthen positive interaction between students and the local community, while nurturing empathy, generosity, and a spirit of volunteerism alongside academic excellence.
