In line with Yarmouk University’s commitment to strengthening its role in serving the local community and promoting the values of social responsibility, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized an applied educational visit to Al-Amal Association for Special Education on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students from the college. The visit aimed to enhance the practical aspect of students’ learning and provide them with the opportunity to interact directly with children with special needs. It also sought to bring joy and happiness to their hearts by presenting gifts on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, thereby reinforcing students’ humanistic and social values.
The visit was organized under the supervision of a group of faculty members from the Faculty of Pharmacy, including Dr. Mariam Al-Ameri, Dr. Aseel Rataan, Dr. Mariam Ruzaiq, Dr. Haneen Amawi, Prof. Osama Abu Al-Rub, Dr. Amal Albawaana, Dr. Sumaya Abuloha, and Prof. Omar Qumoh, in addition to pharmacist Bayan Malkawi and Ms. Wafaa Al-Awad, who all contributed to supervising the students and organizing the activities of the visit. This visit comes as part of the college’s extracurricular activities plan, which it is keen to implement in order to strengthen the integration between the theoretical and practical aspects of education, and to contribute to preparing students who possess both humanitarian and professional awareness and are capable of serving their community with competence and responsibility.
