As part of its social responsibility and its mission to promote health awareness among school students, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a health and educational day at Ruqayyah Bint Al-Rasul Girls’ School in Qasabat Irbid. The event was supervised by Dr. Haneen Amawi, Dr. Aseel Retaan, Dr. Mariam Al-Ameri, Dr. Amal Albawaana, Dr. Yasmeen Hamzat, and Ms. Abeer Al-Souri.

The activity featured excellent organization and active participation from a distinguished group of pharmacy students: Esraa Abu Naameh, Dania Anaqrah, Salma Idieri, Alaa Al-Shloul, Rahaf Jdeitawe, Sura Abu Fdala, Noor Abu Zeitoun, Nada Abu Yaqeen, Malak Abu Hatab, Sidra Nazzal, Esraa Howaidi, and Ghaida Abu Al-Shawab. The students delivered interactive scientific content to ninth- and tenth-grade students in an engaging and innovative manner.

The health day included several educational stations covering a variety of health topics. The participating students provided guidance and tips on healthy nutrition, stress management, and strategies to avoid smoking and waterpipe use, along with other awareness topics relevant to the targeted age group.

Each station featured interactive activities and competitions designed to attract students’ interest, encourage their engagement, and enhance their understanding of the health messages presented, all within an enjoyable learning environment that supports translating health concepts into daily practices.

The event was well received by the school administration and the participating students.
