An introductory workshop was held at the Faculty of Pharmacy for students regarding the modifications made to the 2021 curriculum and training instructions in the presence of the college dean and several faculty members.
The college dean, Dr. Fadia Mayyas, welcomed the students, wishing them success. She indicated that the primary goal of the current modifications approved in the curriculum and training is to facilitate the implementation of the plan, student registration, and improve the program quality. She also encouraged students to participate in the upcoming student elections, emphasizing that elections are an opportunity to practice democracy, represent students in meeting their aspirations, support the university in implementing activities, stressing the importance of active and honest participation for the success of the experience and achieving the interests of the college and the university.
In turn, the vice-dean and curriculum committee chair, Dr. Bilal Al-Jaidi, highlighted the key modifications made to the current curriculum and their objectives. Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Training, Dr. Mohammed Nasir, explained the latest updates on field training instructions.
Finally, Dr. Ali Hmaidat, assistant dean for student affairs, presented the student union instructions recently approved by Yarmouk University in preparation for the upcoming student elections, encouraging students to participate in the electoral process and choose their representatives in a democratic atmosphere filled with respect and acceptance of differing opinions.
