The Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University Organizes a Scientific Lecture on Regulatory Affairs and Drug Registration

Under the generous patronage of the Deanship of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University, Dr. Maryam Al-Amri and Dr. Maryam Razeq organized a specialized scientific lecture entitled “Regulatory Affairs and Drug Registration” on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The lecture was delivered by pharmacist Dr. Manal Ayyash, with the attendance of a number of faculty students and academic staff members.

The lecture addressed several important topics related to regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical sector, the mechanisms of drug product registration, and the importance of compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements that ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines. It also highlighted the vital role played by regulatory authorities in protecting patients’ health and supporting the pharmaceutical industry.

The lecture was distinguished by Dr. Manal Ayyash’s clear and engaging style of presenting information. She effectively connected scientific concepts with practical applications in the pharmaceutical labor market, which contributed to enhancing students’ understanding of the importance of this field and its role in the professional career path of pharmacists.
