The Faculty of Pharmacy concluded the 2025 AI-Powered Electronic Applications Competition, held under the patronage of Yarmouk University President Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi and attended by Prof. Alaa Al-Jabaali, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. On Thursday, 23 October 2025, the winning teams were announced and all participants were honored.
The competition was initiated by the organizing committee members: Dr. Alaa’ Yehya, Dr. Hadeia Mashaqbeh, Dr. Ghinaa Abu Diab, Prof. Ghaith Al-Ta’ani from the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Zeyad Hailat from the Faculty of Information Technology and Computer Science. Over two months, 24 student teams took part in training workshops covering the fundamentals of electronic applications, the role of artificial intelligence, and hands-on practice using various app-building tools.
All submitted projects demonstrated strong innovation and competitiveness. Some applications addressed challenges in industrial and pharmaceutical chemistry fields, while others provided creative solutions to support community pharmacists and enhance patient access to reliable medical information.
The Faculty looks forward to sustaining students’ creativity and encouraging them to keep pace with technological advancements in the pharmaceutical field.
