In a pioneering initiative, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Yarmouk University participated in the Quality Leadership Competition organized by the Center for Accreditation and Quality Assurance, under the theme "Artificial Intelligence Applications in Creating Academic and Exam Schedules."

The Faculty presented an innovative AI-powered scheduling software, developed by a dedicated team led by Engineer Abdullah Malkawi and supervised by Dr. Bilal Al-Jaidi, Dr. Yazan Al-Akkam, Dr. Aseel Rat’aan, and Pharmacist Bayan Malkawi.

The smart scheduling tool was successfully implemented to generate the midterm exam schedule for the second semester. It significantly reduced scheduling conflicts and back-to-back exams when compared to traditional manual methods. This contributed to easing academic pressure on students and enhancing their overall satisfaction.

The initiative marks a meaningful advancement in leveraging artificial intelligence to improve academic operations and reflects the Faculty’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in higher education.
