Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Jabali, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, held an expanded meeting that brought together the academic, administrative, and technical staff of the Faculty of Pharmacy, at the start of the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The Dean opened the meeting with a welcoming speech in which he greeted the new faculty members, emphasizing the importance of fostering a culture of institutional work and strengthening the spirit of teamwork. He noted that this contributes to the development of academic and administrative performance and enhances the overall quality of the educational process at the faculty.
During the meeting, the Dean highlighted a number of achievements accomplished during the past period, pointing to the efforts made to develop and update the Master’s program file and to implement the necessary amendments to the Bachelor’s program study plans in line with accreditation requirements and quality standards. He also addressed the faculty’s achievements in advancing pharmaceutical education and promoting the concept of Early Exposure, which enables students, from the early stages of their studies, to become familiar with various fields of pharmaceutical practice and to link theoretical knowledge with practical application.
He further noted the establishment and formation of the Faculty Advisory Council and the convening of its first meeting, in addition to the signing and renewal of several agreements and memoranda of understanding that support the educational and training process. With regard to research infrastructure, he reviewed the efforts made to develop research laboratories and to establish clear mechanisms for equipment maintenance and operation to ensure sustainability and efficient utilization.
The meeting also covered updates on the self-accreditation file related to Jordanian local accreditation. The Dean indicated that the faculty had obtained approval of the eligibility model, affirming that this step represents an important milestone toward completing the accreditation requirements. He expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to all faculty members, administrators, and working committees who contributed to the preparation and completion of the self-study report, commending their sincere efforts and constructive cooperation in achieving this accomplishment.
The meeting also addressed several topics related to the activities and events planned for implementation during the second semester, in addition to discussing the academic and administrative preparations associated with it.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed his pride in the efforts made by all faculty members and staff, affirming the continued commitment to working in a spirit of responsibility and partnership to achieve further progress and excellence. He wished everyone a semester filled with productivity and success.
