On Sunday 21/12/2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted an event “The Day You Meet Yourself”, organized and initiated by the Dosemates team, as part of ongoing efforts to promote mental health awareness and enhance self-awareness among students. The event featured two interactive workshops.
The first workshop was delivered by Dr. Ahmad Talahmeh,Psychological and Social Counselor at the Deanship of Student Affairs,titled:“When Your Inner Voice Whispers What You Dare Not Say:Social Anxiety and Phobia as Never Told Before,” addressing concepts of anxiety and social phobia through a scientific and engaging approach.
The second workshop was presented by Dr. Wasel Al-Omari from the Deanship of Student Affairs – International Students Affairs Office, titled:“How to Be friend Yourself?” which focused on the importance of self-acceptance and building a healthy relationship with oneself.
In addition, the event included an art exhibition featuring drawings and written pieces reflecting various aspects of mental health. Through their artistic expressions, students demonstrated a remarkable level of awareness and interest in this vital dimension of personal well-being.
The Faculty of Pharmacy and the Dosemates team extend their sincere appreciation to all attendees and contributors who played a role in the success of this meaningful event, reaffirming the Faculty’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote mental health awareness and strengthen community engagement among students.
