The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of faculty members, held a meeting with the Faculty’s students during which a number of academic and organizational issues of concern to students were discussed.
The meeting addressed the University’s decisions regarding the regulation and prohibition of graduation parties, as well as permitting the placement of graduates’ notebooks in accordance with approved regulations. The organizational foundations and objectives of these decisions were explained, highlighting their role in preserving the university environment and ensuring the proper organization of student activities.
The meeting also featured the presentation of an introductory video about the Faculty of Pharmacy, prepared by students, which showcased the Faculty’s academic journey and achievements, and highlighted students’ creative role in promoting the Faculty.
In a related context, the Faculty’s proposal to amend the timing of student training in the coming years was discussed, aiming to achieve greater alignment between the study plan and practical training requirements. This enhances students’ professional competencies, and better meet labor market needs.
The meeting included honoring a number of academically and athletically outstanding students. The students who contributed to guiding new students and producing orientation videos were honored, in appreciation of their efforts and initiatives that supported the university environment and strengthened students’ sense of belonging and cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing communication with students and listening to their views and suggestions, in a manner that positively contributes to the development of the educational process and the advancement of the academic journey of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
