The Scientific Research Club at the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a distinguished awareness event on Sunday, November 16, at Al-Qimma International Academy in observance of World Diabetes Day. The initiative was supervised by Dr. Islam Bardawil, with the participation of supervisors Salam Shanaq, Afnan Ayyad, and Sama Abu Al-Ghanam.

During the event, members of the Club delivered informative presentations and scientific overviews addressing diabetes, its risk factors, preventive strategies, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to reduce the likelihood of developing the disease. The awareness day also featured interactive and educational stations designed to promote health literacy among school students in an engaging and practical format.

The Faculty extends its sincere appreciation to the administration of Al-Qimma International Academy for their warm hospitality and cooperation, and to the participating students for their dedicated efforts and meaningful contribution to enhancing community health awareness.
