The end of the second Cell Culture Techniques workshop

On Thursday, February 20, 2024, the second session of the Cell Culture Techniques course at Yarmouk University's Faculty of Pharmacy ended up. The closing ceremony was attended by Professor Fadia Mayyas, the dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Abdel Basset Athamneh, the director of the Queen Rania Centre, Dr. Ali Hmeidat, the supervisor and teacher for the course, and the assistant dean for student affairs.

The course witnessed active participation from attendees who learned the fundamentals of handling and preserving natural and cancerous cells in the Cell and Tissue Culture Laboratory at the Faculty of Pharmacy. The course program included a series of lectures, videos, and practical sessions held in the college's classrooms and the cell culture laboratory. Participants conducted laboratory experiments under the supervision of Dr. Hmeidat and trainer Sondos Al-tahat.

At the end of the course, certificates were given to the participants. Dr. Mayyas expressed gratitude to Queen Rania Center, acknowledging their efforts, along with Dr. Hmeidat's, in organizing the course. The importance of conducting such courses was emphasized by Dr. Athamneh, who also thanked the Faculty of Pharmacy for their collaboration and organization. It's worth mentioning that this course was accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and equated to 30 training hours.
