PHAR410 : Medicinal Chemistry (1)
Description: This course will start with an introduction to the medicinal chemistry, and then will provide a detailed description of the pharmacodynamics operations and how it is affecting the process of drug design and drug action.
The course will introduce and explain the term "Structure activity relationship", and then will study in details drugs that act on the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system ;which includes adrenergic and cholinergic systems. Also course will provide a detailed study about the anti-ulcer agents.

Description: This course aims to continue the detailed studying of drug groups; their mechanism of actions and medical uses.
This course includes antibacterial, antifungals, antivirals, antiparasites, anticancer, and peptic ulcer drugs. Also, it discusses cardiovascular drugs including anti-hypertensive drugs
